DescriptionSCSU und BOCU sind spezielle Komprimierungen für Multibyte-Zeichensätze. Diese Komprimierungen werden in der Regel an speziellen BOM-Zeichen erkannt und müssen vor der eigentlichen Zeichensatzkonvertierung aufgehoben werden. Daher bietet es sich an, diese in einer eigenen Konvertierungskomponente (CNVUCC (UNICODE-COMPRESSION)) zusammenzufassen.
