Summary | 0000655: Support compressed and or encrypted FLAM4FILE to save and verifiy hash values |
Description | To provide a more secure solution for integrity protection for files it would be useful to store the calculated hash values in a encrypted FLAMFILE. This prevents manipulation of the hash values, means it results in a cryptographic MAC.
For example:
SMPE can only write to such an encrypted file, but anybody can read/verify it.
This feature would be very helpful to protect load modules on system Z or other files.
This requires a new object to specify the famfile parameter. |
