FLAM I/O-Driver

The FLAM I/O-drivers are responsible on distributed platforms (WINDOWS, UNIX, ...) - much like the subsystem on host computers - for transparent access to our compressed and encrypted FLAM archive by any application. For that they rely on the byte interface and they allow, for example, mounting archives as a file system.

Compression not only saves disk space, it also cuts down execution time. And encryption enhances data security.

This feature is still under development as part of the new FL5 infrastructure. If you would like more information - please do not hesitate to call us.
